The Embassy Theatre opened its doors to the public on November 18, 1931. It has since become Cumberland’s premier venue for the performing arts and culture.

Rebecca Bensavage (Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt) is thrilled to be joining the cast and crew of Anything Goes. Her most recent performance was this past spring at Potomac State College, where she portrayed the role of Miss Lina Lamont in Singin’ in the Rain. She is no stranger to the Embassy Theatre though. You may have seen her as young Lucy in The Lightbearer or as Adelaide in Guys & Dolls. She would like to say a special thank you to her family and friends for the endless support!
Anything Goes will run through September 22, with performances Thurs-Sat at 8 PM, and Sunday matinees at 2 PM. Admission is $20 adults and $18 seniors/students. Tyler Gilks (Elisha Whitney) is thrilled to be on stage again at the Embassy. Some of Tyler’s favorite previous roles include Rocky in Damn Yankees, Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap, and Steve in She Kills Monsters. Tyler also serves on the Embassy Board of Directors as Technical Manager. He thanks his lovely fiancée, Denise Adams, for the chance to work on such a fun show. Enjoy the show!
